My life has changed a lot recently. A few months ago, I left my country and my family to live in the USA with my sister and her family. It was a big step, but I was ready for it. I continued my studies by correspondence, and I'm going to take my exams on the 24th and 25th of August. I studied every day, especially maths and English, which are my two weakest subjects. I worked on those a lot because they were really hard for me at first, but now they are a little easier. I also started doing sport again, and I felt much better. Yesterday, for example, I ran for thirty minutes and then did a hard sprint. On top of that, I started boxing again: I go four times a week, and I try to go to the gym just as often. On a personal level, I blocked my toxic friends. It was real progress, because for the first time I thought about myself and not about others. My weekends were so much fun too: I often went out with my new family and, honestly, I even touched grass, lol. I also tried paddleboarding — it was so nice, even if I'm still mediocre after only three tries. All in all, I feel like a new person, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Pourquoi
"I leaved"
"for live in the USA"
but / objectif = to + verbe à la base : to live (jamais "for" + verbe)
"pass my exam"
to pass = réussir ; pour « passer » un examen = to take / to sit an exam
"every days"
"Maths and English… it was hard"
deux matières = pluriel → they were hard
"4 by weeks"
fréquence = four times a week
"go on gym"
on va to the gym (préposition + article)
"toxics friends"
"a really progress"
"My weekends it was so funny"
pluriel → were ; on enlève le "it" en trop ; fun (agréable) ≠ funny (drôle)
"I was go", "I was paddle"
pas de was + base : soit I go (habitude), soit I paddled / went paddleboarding (passé)
🌟 Notes détaillées
"I leaved" → "I left" — leave est un verbe irrégulier : leave → left → left.
"for live in the USA" → "to live in the USA" — pour exprimer le but (« pour vivre »), on utilise to + base, jamais « for + verbe ».
"I'm going to pass my exam" → "take my exams" — attention au faux-ami : to pass = réussir. Pour dire « passer » l'examen, on dit to take (ou to sit) an exam.
"I was studying every days" → "I studied every day" — après every, le nom est au singulier (every day).
"Mathematics and English… it was hard" → "they were hard" — le sujet est double (deux matières), donc le verbe est au pluriel : they were.
"boxing 4 by weeks" → "boxing four times a week" — une fréquence se dit X times a week / a month (jamais « by weeks »).
"My weekends it was so funny" → "My weekends were so much fun" — trois points : pluriel (were), on supprime le « it » qui double le sujet, et fun (agréable) ≠ funny (qui fait rire).
"I was go / I was paddle" → choisis un seul temps : I go boxing (habitude présente) et I went paddleboarding / I paddled (passé). « was » + base n'existe pas.
At first… / On top of that… / All in all…
Ajouter un sentiment avec "because" : "It was hard because I was far from my family, but I felt proud."
Distinguer habitude et passé : habitude = présent (I go boxing four times a week) ; hier = prétérit (Yesterday I ran…).
Une vraie conclusion : "All in all, my life has really changed, and I feel like a new person."
